Change usually doesn't require a demolition

“Can I change my life without throwing away everything I've built?”
The stories we hear about change are extreme, because extreme is memorable. Quit everything. Sell the house. Leave the marriage. Move to the coast.
Occasionally that is exactly right. More often the extreme fantasy is doing something else: it makes change feel impossible, which is restful, because impossible things do not require action this week.
Find the load-bearing wall
In most stuck lives there are one or two structural things. A role that no longer fits. A relationship with an unspoken agreement in it. A financial commitment that quietly dictates every other decision.
Everything else is decoration. Move the structural thing and a surprising amount reorganises without being touched. Redecorate around it and nothing changes, expensively.
Small does not mean timid

If you are at the point where you don’t need another article, you need someone to think through the situation with you. That is the work I do.
